Use SpeechGenAI in Claude

Ask Claude for a voice-over and SpeechGenAI makes it with your voices and credits. The clip plays right in the chat.

Add to Claude

Opens Claude's “Add custom connector” window with SpeechGenAI filled in. Nothing is added until you confirm it there.

How to connect

  1. 1Click “Add to Claude”. Check that the name is SpeechGenAI and the address is https://speechgenai.com/mcp, then click Add.
  2. 2Click Connect. Sign in to SpeechGenAI, check what Claude will be able to do, choose a monthly credit limit if you like, then click Allow.
  3. 3Start a new chat and ask for a voice-over.

Add it by hand

In Claude, open Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it SpeechGenAI and paste this address:

Things to ask

  • “Voice this sentence with a warm female voice: Welcome, we're glad you're here.”
  • “Write a short radio ad for my coffee shop and voice it.”
  • “Which Turkish male voices can I use?”
  • “How many credits do I have left?”

What Claude can do with your account

  • See the voices you can use
  • Make audio with your credits
  • See the audio you made recently
  • See your plan and credit balance

It can't clone or design voices, buy anything, or see your password or payment details.

Credits

Every clip shows what it cost and what is left. A job above 5,000 credits comes back as a quote first and runs only after you confirm it. When you connect, you can also set a monthly limit for Claude.

What's new

  • Voice suggestions: say what the voice is for and choose from fitting voices after listening to their demo recordings. Turkish text is voiced with Expressive AI automatically; when several engines fit, you choose, with the price of each.
  • SpeechGenAI is available in Claude: voice your texts with SpeechGenAI voices right in the chat.

Claude keeps the app's tool list it loaded for a while, so a new feature can take one step: start a new chat, and if the feature is still missing, refresh or reconnect SpeechGenAI in Claude under Customize → Connectors.

Where it works

Claude on the web, in the desktop app and in the phone apps, on every Claude plan. Claude's free plan allows one custom connector. To use SpeechGenAI on a phone, add it on the web or in the desktop app first.

Claude Code

In Claude Code, run this command, then type /mcp to sign in. Claude Code shows a download link instead of the player.

Disconnect

Open Connected apps in your SpeechGenAI account, or remove SpeechGenAI under Customize → Connectors in Claude. Resetting your password disconnects every app.
